What is Autonix?
Autonix is a vehicle concierge service for Bay Area drivers. We pick up your car from your home or office, coordinate service, detailing, and fueling or charging with trusted partners, and return your car the same day within your chosen time window.
Where does Autonix operate?
Autonix currently serves drivers across the Bay Area. If you are not sure whether your address is within our coverage area, you can share your location when you request a pickup and we will confirm availability before scheduling.
What types of vehicles do you support?
We support most gas, hybrid, electric, and hydrogen passenger vehicles. If you have a specialty vehicle or a question about compatibility, include the details when you request a pickup and we will confirm what is possible before proceeding.
What are your hours?
Our standard hours are Sun–Sat, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with same-day return windows available as late as 10:00 PM. Exact pickup and drop-off slots depend on your location and the services requested.

Booking and scheduling

How do I book a pickup?
You can request a pickup through our service form by sharing your location, vehicle details, what your car needs, and your preferred pickup window. The request takes under a minute and we will follow up to confirm timing, partners, and pricing before anything is scheduled.
How far in advance should I book?
Same-day and next-day slots are often available, but they are limited. For routine maintenance or detailing, we recommend booking at least a few days in advance to have more flexibility on pickup and return windows.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Yes. If you need to change or cancel a pickup, contact us as soon as possible. We do our best to accommodate schedule changes, especially if we have not yet dispatched a driver or confirmed work with a partner shop.
Do I have to be present at pickup and drop-off?
In many cases, you can authorize key handoff without being physically present, such as with a lockbox, concierge desk, or other secure arrangement. We will confirm the exact process with you when we schedule your pickup so you can choose what works best.

Services and partners

What services can Autonix coordinate for my vehicle?
We coordinate a range of services through trusted partners, including:
  • Routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks)
  • Repair appointments and diagnostics
  • Interior and exterior detailing
  • Smog checks and inspections where applicable
  • Gas refueling, EV charging, and hydrogen refueling at appropriate stations
When you request a pickup, tell us what you need and we will recommend a suitable plan.
Which shops and service providers do you use?
We work with vetted Bay Area shops and service providers that meet our standards for quality and reliability. The specific partner depends on your location, vehicle, and requested services. We can share details about the shop we plan to use before you approve the work.
Can I choose my own shop?
In many cases, yes. If you already have a preferred dealership or repair shop within our coverage area, let us know when you request a pickup. We will confirm feasibility and coordinate the trip according to their scheduling and policies.
Do you support EV and hydrogen vehicles?
Yes. We coordinate charging for electric vehicles and refueling for hydrogen vehicles at appropriate stations. When you submit your request, share your vehicle model and current range so we can plan the best approach.

Pricing and payment

How does pricing work?
You pay for the services completed on your vehicle plus an Autonix concierge fee for pickup, coordination, and return. We share estimates and expected fees with you in advance and nothing is approved without your confirmation.
Do I pay when I book a pickup?
No. Requesting a pickup does not require payment. After we confirm your services and partner shop, we will share pricing details so you can review and approve before work begins.
What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods can vary based on the services and partners involved. When we confirm your booking, we will share the payment options available for your specific visit and how payment will be handled at completion.
Are there any surprise fees?
Our goal is to keep pricing transparent. If a shop recommends additional work or if anything changes from the original estimate, we will contact you for approval before proceeding so you know exactly what to expect.

Pickup, security, and updates

Is my vehicle insured while Autonix has it?
Your vehicle is covered while it is in our possession and being transported between locations. We treat every car with care and perform a quick walk-around inspection at pickup and drop-off so you know its condition at each step.
How do I know what is happening with my car?
We keep you informed at key points in the process, such as pickup, arrival at the shop, approval of work, and return timing. If you would like photo updates, you can request them when you book and we will send snapshots during service or detailing where feasible.
What if the shop recommends additional work?
If a shop identifies additional work beyond what you requested, we will share the recommendation, estimated cost, and impact on timing. Nothing is approved or performed without your explicit consent.
What happens if there is a delay?
Service timelines can occasionally shift due to shop workload or unexpected findings. If anything changes, we update you as soon as possible and work with you to adjust your return window if needed.
